Operational unit

From weak signal to actionable report.

The mission is not to generate noise or deliver a pile of search results. It isolates useful facts, assesses their reliability, explains what remains uncertain and gives decision-makers a course of action proportionate to the urgency and actual risk.

Analysis room

Four operational desks.

INTAKE

Confidential intake

The need is reformulated with the client: practical objective, urgency, legal context, human risks and available material. Scope, recipients and research limits are agreed before collection.

COLLECT

Controlled collection

Research draws on several families of open sources. Useful links, dates, archives and captures are preserved, while observed facts remain separate from working hypotheses.

ANALYZE

Adversarial analysis

Findings are corroborated, assigned confidence levels and tested against competing explanations. Inconsistencies, actor relationships, timeline breaks and risks are assessed without forcing a conclusion.

BRIEF

Actionable brief

Reporting combines a short brief for decisions, a full file for review and recommendations ranked by priority. Where necessary, it prepares a clear handover to legal, communications, cyber or security specialists.

Reporting format

A clear case file, not a pile of screenshots.

Every report separates verified facts, plausible hypotheses, unknowns, immediate risks and recommended actions. Confidence levels show what is solid, uncertain or incomplete. The executive summary answers the main questions quickly, while appendices preserve the sources, timeline and reasoning needed for independent review.

Language remains deliberately straightforward. A reader coming to the case for the first time should understand where each important finding came from, why it matters, what its limitations are and which decision it can reasonably support.

Prepare the first exchange

Three reference points make scoping useful without oversharing.

The decision to support

State what must be decided, for whom and by when. A check before payment, active impersonation and a partner review require different timelines and specialist input.

What has already been observed

Collect exact URLs, dates, original messages and known actors. Separate direct observations from interpretations passed on by others. A short timeline retains more context than isolated screenshots.

Limits and urgency

Identify exposed people, payments or access still active, relevant countries and intended report readers. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or a complete sensitive file in an initial message.

Handover

OSINT analysis works alongside specialist response.

When an account or payment is actively at risk, protective steps and the relevant service owners come before extended research. An intelligence file can then document public facts and the decisions taken.

Activation

A sensitive situation deserves a calm, factual and independent first assessment before any reaction.

Start scoping

Quality criteria for a reviewable output

A reader should be able to revisit the conclusion from the delivered material. The file separates consulted sources, established facts, analysis and proposed actions. It retains relevant contradictions and unavailable information.

  • Each material finding links to a source, date and scope.
  • An alternative explanation is considered before attribution.
  • Language, access and period limitations stay visible.
  • Actions have an owner and a trigger for further review.

Evidence exports or records intended for proceedings follow the method agreed with the appropriate professional. Screenshot volume is not a quality measure.
